Hey Guys, just another outfit post, I love doing these especially as the weather gets hotter as I can whack things on which havent seen the light of day since last summer like the kimono I wore. So on with the outfit.
Just to add, these pictures were shot in my garden, it is so beautiful at the moment with all the flowers in bloom and all the plants so full, being outside in it just makes me feel to happy and summery.
Black High Necked Crop Top: ASOS, Ripped High Waisted Shorts: Urban Outfitters, White Studded Sandals: River island, Floral Kimono: Topshop, Black and Gold Leather Belt (a regular feature I know): My Mums. The jewellery isn't clear in these pictures but I piled on the rings, mostly gold with a few subtle colours and the midi rings all from Dorothy Perkins along with my chunky gold rectangular earrings. I also wore my Tiffany Mini Bracelet and my Michael Kors Rose Gold Watch.
To finish the look I wore my hair in a roughed up, side fishtail braid, I've only just learnt how to do them so have been sporting it on a regular basis now and probably will throughout summer now as its so easy and keeps my hair out of my fface or flapping around in the breeze.
I hope you've liked it and are also embrassing the gorgeous summer weather.
Until next time.

Summer Buys and some Vintage Clothing.
Hi Guys, I realise I haven't been blogging regularly, I've just fallen out of the swing of it since being off of uni. I think it's just where I don't have a structure or timetable to my weeks and have got a bit lazy with my blogging. I do really want to get back into it especially as the weather is getting nicer so I can do loads of summer based posts like outfits and days out, I have created a list of posts that I've been meaning to do for a while so will start to make my way through them.
Onto the actual post... since my birthday I've had a bit of extra dollar to go out shopping, I hadn't shopped properly in months just due to a lack of money so I was rather happy when I managed to eek three shopping trips out. I'm not going to show everything as I've done outfit posts on several of the items or posted them on instagram so i've just photographed the most recent purchases as well as some recent vintage buys. The vintage pieces I actually got from a kilo sale that me and my friend Briony went to in London. It was an interesting experience, basically a large warehouse full of huge totes filledl to the brim with different types of garments but we got some good bits and it was a bargain!!! a kilo of clothes was £15, I got my three items for £10.
Lets start with the vintage.
This dress is amazing, it fits so well and the material is quite thick so it holds in all the right areas. I don't really own much black so it's something a bit different. I don't know how clear it comes across in the pictures but it has some subtle details to it which makes it quite unique: the straps are split and because of this they sit close to the shoulders opening up the chest area, there are also two black sheer inserts under the bust which is different to the usual cut outs that you get which aren't very flattering if your not stick thin but these are a really nice detail on the dress, lastly it has a side split up the side which is bang on trend at the moment.
The next find was this cute shirt, it is slightly oversized but I prefer a loose top and a tight bottom. I thought the print was adorable and summery, its also lightweight so I can still wear it in the warmer weather.
Lastly I got this midi skirt, I tried something on of a similar fit in Topshop and loved it but couldn't quite afford the £45 price tag, I really love the colours in the print and although it's not really a summery item it'll be perfect when it gets a bit cooler in autumn.
So there we go, three items for £10. I also got three really cute bows for my hair which I have been pairing with every outfit.
Onto the Topshop sale, I tried quite alot on but only ended up getting two items which are both so colourful and I can't wait to wear them.
First up, these gogeous cobalt blue trousers. They were reduced to £20 from £40 I think. They're a cigarette fit that come to just above the ankleand are really flattering. The jaquard pattern adds detail to them so I'd probably pair them with a plain white of black top of some sort.
I also got this skirt, It was scraming out to me from the rail and is just a bit lairy and different. I love the unusual print on it and the length is a bit different to whats about at the moment with it finishing an inch or two above the knee. It was a bit tight around the hips but opted for the smaller size as the next size up would have been too big for my waist so I'll just have to suck it in when I wear it.
I was a bit dissapointed with Bluewaters River Island as all their tops seem to be super cropped and I personally only wear a crop with highwaisted things so would have loved a normal length top but whilst looking around I found this dress an fell in love. I know I bought the vintage black maxi but this one is a bit more casual. It has a high neck to it which is a detail I really love at the moment and it also has a split, but unlike the vintage dress the split on this is more of a cut out which you can kind of see in the picture. It was a bit long but I can take it up if need be and it was only £22. Love it.
Lastly we took a trip to new look and this top was only £3 so I couldn't resist and the top is long enough to meet my highwaisted jeans and shorts. The stripes were also quite slimming and add something to a simple outfit.
So I hope you've enjoyed the post and let me know what you think, will be doing some outfit posts with them so stay tuned for that.

May GlossyBox
Hey Guys, I know we are nearing the end of June but I still haven't done my May's Glossybox post. I don't really know why this is other than I've been a bit more focused on the fashion side of my blog with the 'Today's Outfit' which I hope you've all been liking. So on with the GlossyBox...
It was their 2nd birthday and the box was a good one, popping in some complimentary nail files.
Let's start with the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Shine Spray, Full Size 125ml £18.95. I haven't used this product loads but I do generally give my hair a spritze with it when I straighten it just to add a bit of extra shine. A tip I'd suggest is to lightly brush through once you've sprayed just to avoid your hair sticking together if you've put a tad too much on. To be honest I use it mostly because I love the smell, personally I can really smell the ginger but I sprayed it and the boyfriend still choked and said it smelt like hairspray, so maybe it's just a girl thing where we are used to strong smelling hair sprays. Anyway, I'm not sure if I'd repurchase just because I use alot of shine and smoothing shampoos and conditioners but I do really like the product to give a sleek finish to any style.
Onto the Roger And Gallet Fleur de Figuier Sachets. Within this set was:
Eau Fraiche, Sample 1,5 ml, Full Size 100ml £32. This has such a lovely smell to it, it is floral but is also quite fruity, girly and summery. I love wearing this fragrance as I don't really have anything like this, for a floral scent it is quite heavy I find unlike something like Marc Jacobs Daisy which is much more of a dainty, light scent. I would definitely buy this product especially for spring/summer.
Body Lotion, Sample 10 ml, Full Size 200ml £13. Unlike the scent of the same collection I find that the lotion isn't very fragrant which surprised me considering how strong the Eau Fraiche was. It does seem from using the sample that a small amount goes a long way but personally I prefer usung a thicher cream or a butter as this product also seems a bit thin in consistencey. The product was nice but nothing amazing so I probably would rebuy it but it was a good sample to try out.
Shower Cream, Sample 10 ml, Full Size 200ml £9. The shower cream, like the body lotion had a similar smell, I don't have much to say abou this product as my review of it is pretty similar to the lotion but it was a nice sample.
next up is the Beautiful Movements Cosmetics (BM Beauty) Prime & Create Mixing Medium, Sample 2.5 g, Full Size 20 g £20. I hadn't really used a primer before but this product converted me. I was worried when I first used it that it was going to make me look greasy as I do have oily skin but as I applied it it just left my skin feeling soft and made applying concealer and highlighter around my eyes so easy it was amazing. I cannot rave enough about this product, I love it and would definitely buy this but at £20 it is a bit pricey so in the mean time I have opted for a slightly more affordable in the mean time since my sample has now ran out. My current primer is B. Prepared Makeup Primer which is currently on offer in Superdrug from £9.99 to £6.66, bargain. This is a good, cheap alternative but if you have the money then invest in the Beautiful Movements primer.
Another amazing product in May's GlossyBox was Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Mascara, Full Size £15. I still can't get over how good the value for money the GlossyBox is, you get so much for your money and eveytime the little box arrives it's like christmas came early. Anyway, on with the mascara. the brush to it doesn't look like much and I generally prefer the plastic/rubber brushes but in this case it works.I love this product, mainly as initially it gives quite a light coverage whilst still managing to lengthen the lashes but if you want a slightly heavier look then you can layer it up but work quickly as the initial layer dries quite quickly. Another perk of this mascara is that it is water resistent which is brilliant for me at the moment as hayfever has caused my eyes to stream on various occasions and having this on avoids any panda eye makeovers. This is brilliant if you just want a light makeup day, at the beach or to just darken your lashes a bit. I would suggest trying any of Jelly Pong Pong's products as this is the second I have tried and both I have loved and became favourites in my makeup bag.
Last but not least is the Headline Colors Poolside Party Nail Polish, Full Size 10 ml £9 (Shade: Spotlight) .Initially looking at the bottle I wasn't too keen on the colour but tried it purely so I could review it on here and was quite pleasently surprised. In the bottle it seems a strange colour like a metalic, silvery bronzey purpley colour (so you now understand why I was skeptical) but when it's on it comes out a silver colour which I like as I don't really have any silver nail varnishes. the coverage was quite thick as well which is always good in a polish and dried really quickly. The quality of the Headline Colours I would say is worth the £9 price tag but I'm not sure if I'd buy any of the other colours but I will be sporting Spotlight on my nails again.
Oh and lets not forget the pack of nail files. Always handy to keep in the handbag.
I hope you've enjoyed this post despite how late it is. Let me know what you think of the products.

Today's Outfit #08
Hey Guys, this outfit was from Monday when Alex and I went up to Silverstone for the day so he could do his driving experience. It was a good day but obviously we spent a long time in the car getting there and back and the weather wasn't very good considering it's June! Choosing something comfty I opted for a jumper/sweatshirt dress and plimsols. I did wear some dnim shorts underneath just to feel a bit more comfortable. This was just a casual day outfit, perfect for travelling and doing a bit of walking.
Dress: H&M (bluewater store) //NEW//, Plimsols: Topshop, Bow Socks: Dorothy Perkins.
A pretty basic outfit but I hope you like it. I felt a bit like a cheerleader in the dress but it really was so comfty and the material isn't that thick so it is perfect for those british summer days.

Today's Outfit #07
Hi Guys, so for those of you that do look on my instagram pages you would of seen that I've started uploading more outfit photos, I do plan on doing more posts about them but most of the time I take the photos neare the end of the day so it takes a few days for me to get round to blogging about them.
This outfit was from Saturday, I had been wearing the jeans all day at work but Alex took me out for dinner in the evening so i just changed my top and shoes to dress them up a bit.
And here we are... I had a bit of a spend up with some Bluewater vouchers I got for my birthday, these jeans were one of several items I got. I also splurged out and got Candy Yum Yum!! So excited, I've wanted this forever !!!
Anyways on to the outfit... Top: Zara, Belt: My Mum's, Jeans: Topshop //NEW// , Shoes: Asos //NEW//
These shoes are so amazing, my lovely frriends got them for me and I am just in love with them so so much. Shoes have definately become a bit of an addiction so I may do a post soon about recent shoe purchases. I also realise I still haven't blogged about the May GlossyBox and my June one has came through so that will be going up in the next few days I promise.
Until tomorrow (fingers crossed)
Enjoy
