Hey Guys, so I'm getting a bit behind with my blogging, uni has been so busy I just haven't had the time but my april glossybox arrived a week and a bit ago maybe longer and I am absolutely in love with it. There are some amazing products in there and this months one is such good value for money.
To start with, this box is beautiful! The cute floaral pattern and pastel orange colour by Pearl Lowe got me excited just looking at it.
So... Product 1: Crabtree & Evelyn Somerset Meadow Hand Therapy. Sample size 25g. Full size 100g for £14.
I'm not a lover of hand cream just because I have quite soft hands anyway so don't really need it but also because I find so many of them leave some kind of residue leaving my hands feeling sticky or oily (not nice). Anyway I tried it and I now love it, this little sample lives in my bag. It uses macadamia nut oil, shea butter and vitamins C and E which leave your hands really smooth and it soaks in really quickly. It also smells lovely. This Somerset Meadow range is new and actually launches in stores today, I would definately recommend trying this whether you suffer from dry hands or not.
Next up is Essie Nail Lacquer in shade We're In It Together. Full Size 135ml for £7.99.
I have wanted to try the Essie nail varnishes for a while but they're just a bit pricey. I love the colour I got, it's perfect for spring/summer and has kind of an irridescent shine to it in the light. the only thing I found is that if you want a solid colour you do have to put 2-3 coats on but the colour is so pretty that I don't mind. I would definately consider getting a few more shades.
Product three is Illamasqua Medium Pencil in shade Manic. Full size 1g for £13.
I have to admit I haven't tried this yet mainly because I haven't had an occasion to test it out for but I love the colour. This pencil is meant to multi task between eyes, lips and brows. I don't think I'm quite daring enough to use it on my brows but shall definately be giving it a go as an eyeliner. The colour is so bright from just one stroke, it could make quite a cool eye for summer or a festival look. I wouldn't ever of bought this for myself so it's nice to get a product like this that's a bit different.
Onto Yves Rocher France, So Ellixr Purple Yves Rocher Eau de Parfum. Full size 50ml for £44.
I got rather excited when I saw a little perfume in this months box. When it comes to perfume I don't favour a particular scent or brand and like to have a range to choose from. Somedays I'll wear a Marc Jacobs like Daisy which is really light and floral, then the next I might wear Paco Rabanne Lady Million or versace Yellow Diamond which are stronger and a bit more fruity I suppose. This Yves Rocher perfume is also quite strong and is described as a 'floral-woody elixir'. The more I use it, the more I love it.
Last but not least is Nip+Fab Dry Skin Fix Body Butter in Pistachio Sundae. Sample size 50ml. Full size 200ml for £9.95.
This is definately my new favourite product. It smells amazing! As soon as you open the tub you get this sweet smell like marzipan or battenburg (not quite pistachio) but it's sooo good. I like this more than other body butters I've tried in the past as the consistencey of it isn't as thick and it goes a bit further. You don't have to pile it on to get a decent coverage and the best bit is that the smell stays with you for a good few hours. I have nothing bad to say about this product and when I run out I will definately be buying another. They also do it in Mango Smoothie or Coconur Latte.
Well I hope you enjoyed my GlossyBox post, I love reading and seeing what everyone else got in theres.

Today's Outfit #03
Hey Guys, this was yesterdays outfit. I had been at work for 4 hours so kept my outfit the same and just dressed it up with some heels, clutch and extensions. Me and Alex were off to meet our friends for drinks and a take out so it wasn't anything fancy but enough to get the heels out.
Top: Black Marl Vest Top from Topshop, Skirt: Striped Pencil Skirt from Dorothy Perkins (still in store), Belt: Elasticated Rose Chain Belt from Topshop, Cardigan: Chunky Boyfriend Cardigan from Dorothy Perkins, Bag: Black Bow Clutch from New Look, Shoes: Rose Sequinned Mules from Topshop.
I don't know if it's just me but I have two types of heels: 'going out' heels which tend to be huge and chunky and then 'dinner' heels which are more dainty and girly usually with a stiletto heel.
These are definately one of my 'dinner' shoes.

Today's Outfit #02
Second post for the day and it's just a small one. Today I was just going to uni, some days I dress up a bit more like I did today and other days I just rock up in leggings, a tee and my plimsols (like yesterday). I put all the details of cwhat I'm wearing below the pictures.
Let me know what you think. :)
Pretty simple outfit, the shirt is so loud that I didn't really need to pair much else with it.
Shirt: From ASOS, I got it in the last big sale they did for about £12 I think. I love the print on it, I had seen my friend wearing it and had to have it. I've noticed that I don't wear alot of black, and when I do it tends to be bottoms rather than tops. But anyway I love this shirt and it's something I can wear rain or shine.
Leggings: From New Look, I got these such a long time ago I can't remember how much they were. If I'm to guess they're around the £10 mark. Just basic black leggings, the seam free ones, they've kept their colour and are more lycra like then the cotton feel ones.
Boots: Studded heeled leather boots from Topshop. I think these were £95? or around that. The picture doesn't show too well but they do have small gold studs on the toe. I love these boots and put them with most outfits.
I feel a bit more made up today than usual, I think it may be the red lip.
Earrings: These are from Topshop, I absolutely love them. Neon jewellery like this is slowly becoming my favourite so think I may be buying some more. These are a pretty statement piece so I didn't wear a necklace.
Makeup: Benefit Erase Paste around the eye, MUA Cover & Conceal in Fair to highlight eyes, nose, chin and cupids bow, Collection Extreme Felt Tip Liner, NYC High Definition Mascara, Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush in Cranberry, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Silky Beige, MUA Blush in Shade 1, Virgin Cosmetics Bronzer.

Review: April Discoveries
Hey Guys, So as the title of this post suggests, this is just going to be a small review of some products I have recently found and my opinion on them. The products that feature I have obtained and tried over the last month.
My New Must Haves:
1. The Body Shop Chocomania Shower Cream £4 250ml. This stuff is amazing! It smells so good you just want to eat it. I love, love, love this product and shall definately be repurchasing. I only had a small bottle which came as part of a gift set and that lasted me about 2-3 weeks and that was a 60ml bottle. It probably would of lasted longer if I'd of used less each time as it does lather up really well and go a long way, I just got a bit carried away because the smell of it is gorgeous.
2. Avon Ultra Color Rich Lipstick in Pout, I think it's £5 but it was given to me so I'm unsure. I do have quite a lot of lipsticks but most of them are bright or fairly dramatic colours just because I have struggled to find a good nude one. This lipstick is so nice of the lips, the nude hints towards more of a coral colour which I find really complements my skin. I also suffer from dry lips and this is one of the few that manages to hide this and moisturise my lips instead of emphasising it. It's a must have!
3. Rimmel Sunshimmer Instant Tan Water Resistant Medium Matte £6.99 125ml. I love this. I have used the non waterproof version for over a year now. I have used so many tans and had so many disasters but this one is amazing. I don't tan on a daily basis but always use it for a night out or any sort of occassion really. It dries super quickly and where it is an instant tan you can see exactly where it goes. You do have to work quite quickly with it so only do one area at a time and I can not emphasise enough USE A TANNING MIT! this product comes out thick in a black/brown colour and it will stain your hands instantly.
4. Jelly Pong Pong Cosmetics Lip Blush in Cranberry (berry red) £12. I got this in my March Glossybox and fell in love, the image here (from their website) does look really pink but it is more red, I have already featured this product in Todays Outfit #01 and March Glossybox so have at look there for the colour. It is so lovely, it glides on and stays put all day, I have put it on for uni, been there all day, came home and it looks pretty much the same. I love this product so much that I have every intention of buying the other shade and other products from Jelly Pong Pong.
They Did The Job:
1. L'Occitane En Provence Brightening Hand Care SPF 15 £19 75ml. I don't usually use hand cream but I've noticed that with a new hand wash we've had at home that my hands feel a bit dry so I gave this a go. The one that I've been using id a sample and I did get it in March's Glossybox and mine also says SPF20 on the bottle. The product is good but I don't notice any real improvements in my hands other than them feeling moisturised which is standard in a product like this. It is good that it has SPF in it and that is one element that I would recommend looking for in any moisturisers. I did like this product but I don't think I would re purchase it mainly for the price tag.
2. DiorSkin Nude BB Cream £30 30ml. This was also a tester product that came in one of the latest issues of Vogue. I was going out for the day so thought I'd try it. It was nice but I personally didn't find it did much for me, it didn't help with shine control in amyway and I also found that it picked up any areas of my skin that were slightly dry. Although I wouldn't go out and by this product I can understand why it has had good reviews, it's just not for me.
Let Downs:
1. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant Fragrance Free £25 50ml. This is a bit controversial seeing how it has been nominated for several beauty awards but I just didn't like it. This is meant to be the cream that does it all. I got a sample in my Glossybox and was quite excited due to all the hype about this product but I found it a bit strange. It came out more a gel than a cream, i tried it on my hands but found it sticky and oily so had to wash them, because of this I haven't used it on my face. I'm an oily person anyway so I don't want what I found to be quite a heavy and oily product on my face. The only use I have got from it is as lip care but it doesn't have the greatest taste so I only use it at night, to be fair to it my lips are well moisturised by the morning and often still have the product left on them. So yeah, this product wasn't for me but would love to hear your opinions on it.
2.
Umberto Giannini Glam Hair Plump & Sexy Volume Conditioner £5.61 250ml. I buy into most things that claim to add volume to my hair as after the first day of being washed my hair goes really flat and I have to use dry shampoo to spruce it up. I thought I'd give this ago and now I wish I hadn't. I did use it in conjunction with the shampoo which was alright and I'll probably use the rest of the bottle but with an intensive conditioner. I understand that getting volume normally means compromising some shine or softness but this took it to the extreme. My hair felt like straw and my hair didn't appear much different other than it held it's shape a bit better as it was so dry. It also took me about two washes with an argan oil conditioning mask to get my hair back to normal. I would not recommend the range or use it again.
Well I hope you liked the post, I don't like being negative about products but not everything works. Also these are my own opinions and I'm not saying the products that I haven't really rated, wouldn't work for some of you.
Until next time

Skirts, Skirts, Skirts!
Hey Guys. Fashion post! So yesterday I finally felt like spring has arrived, I just had on an aztec print cut out tee and some light wash denim look leggings (I hate the word jeggings, urgh!), thinking about it now I could of done an outfit post but I haven't worn makeup since saturday as I've just been sat around reading books to write a horrid essay on. Anyway it has got me in the mood for some shopping which I shall be making time for next weekend but in the mean time a bit of online browsing can hold me until then. I was on Topshop's website, like I am most days to be honest, and have become slightly obsessed with their skirt range at the moment. There's just so many different colours and prints and lengths and textures. Overwhelmed but I love it so I think I may pick up one or two on my next outing out. These are a few that I am so desperately after.
In Love!
1. Organza Flower A-Line Mini Skirt, £38. Its just a cute pale pink skirt with a floral sheer overlay.
2. Organza Floral Hem Skirt, £38. Even though it's black the organza overlay and embroided floral bring it up a bit making it more summery.
3. Grey Marl 1992 Tube Skirt, £22. I love this mainly for the bright yellow 1992 and these tube skirts are really easy to wear.
4. Pink Jaquard Mini Skirt, £34. It's just so summery and it's in that lovely neonish pink.
5. Tapestry Lace Tube Skirt, £40. I really like the layered skirts with the sheer top layer. I don't normally do lace but this is the exception.
6. Floral Embroided Calf Skirt, £65. It may be the most pricey out of the six but I really like this style of skirt and have one similar that I got in the sale back in September but in an ivory colour and that is possibly my favourite skirt in my wardrobe.
I am now in the mood for summer and just can't wait for it, mainly because it means no uni, but just being warm and the sunshine and being able to wear skirts without tights.
So yeah, hope you've enjoyed.

Makeup Haul.
Hey Guys so over the last week and a bit I've bought a few beauty and hair products and wanted to share them with you and see if you think these products are any good. I am aware that most of my posts have been beauty related and I do have every intention of doing more fashion posts seeing how I am a fashion student but theres 3 main reasons I've not been buying many clothes recently.
1. I'm trying to be good and save a bit of money as I'm currently saving to book a holiday and I don't tend to buy cheap clothes e.g. H&M and Primark. There's nothing wrong with these brands but being a fashion design student has made me so much more picky with what I like and I buy clothes to invest in and not stuff thats only going to be able to be worn a few times. Also, makeup tends to be cheaper. 2. I'm not really an in between seasons kinda person, everything in the stores at the moment is geared up for spring but I don't know if you've noticed but it's still pretty cold outside so I'm still dressing in my winter clothes pretty much. And I don't like buying clothes that I can't wear straight away. 3. I've just started a work out routine to tone up and stuff so want to wait until I start seeing results from that to buy more clothes.
Anyway with that little explanation over here's my haul. I ordered a few things from Superdrug as well as getting some stuff from the store but the one near me isn't very big so there's not masses in there. I also visited Boots and Holland & Barrett.
Starting with Boots, I went in with the intention of buying Umberto Giannini products and lucky for me it was 3 for 2 so after much deliberation over what volume shampoo and conditioner to buy I decided on these ones, half of my decision was based on the bottles themselves surprisingly. I also picked up the finishing cream because at the moment I'm using one from V05 which is good but I don't feel it actually does anything for my hair. I'm really picky with products like this and have bought so many, used them once and they've just not gone well with my hair and I've never used them again. Individually these are: Umberto Giannini Glam Hair Plump & Sexy Volume Conditioner £5.61, Umberto Giannini Glam Hair Ditch The Dirt Volume Shampoo £5.61, Umberto Giannini Perfect Beauty Finishing Cream £5.61.
I only went in because I was passing by and came out with these two products, I've been looking for an Argan Oil conditioner for a while and that wasn't too pricey. This one by Dr.Organic was £7.99 for a 200ml pot, hopefully I'll have some good results from it. The second are Acai food supplement chews which I keep in my bag most of the time, they are £6.99 for 30 tablets and you take 1-2 3 times a day, I have bought into the Acai thing, I don't know if they actually work but they taste nice.
I forgot to mention I did get a little purchase from ebay, it was 99p for 10 pair of lashes, I'm yet to try them but if they don't work for me then I've only lost 99p. I just liked the shape of them as they don't get longer at the ends as I do find that style sometimes makes my eyes look a bit squinty.
So onto Superdrug, these were just a few things I picked up in store, the usual Rimmel Stay Matte Powder but this time in Silky Beige 005 because they were out of the 004 which I normally use. I also got some face masks, I did get three but I already used the other and can't remember what it was called. These were I think 99p each, I just like to use them every now and again. I picked up the Mud Mask one mainly because they facial scrub I use is similar and I find they really benefit my skin and the other I picked up mainly because it was Tropical Cocktail flavour? scent? I don't know, so I'm guessing it will just smell really nice when it's on.
Last but not least was my online Superdrug purchases. It was free shipping so thought I might as well make the most of it and got three lipsticks and a nail varnish. The nail varnish was £1 from MUA and is in the shade Frozen Yogurt, it's just a slightly darker lilac colour. I then got a Miss Sporty Perfect Colour Lipstick in Innocence £2.59 (top/left swatch) it's just a nice soft pink colour which I'm planning to wear as more of a day lipstick. It also smells amazing, I think it's watermelon! The next one (middle swatch) is FashionistA Double Take Long Wear Lipstick in Natural Pink £5. Again this is a soft day colour which will be perfect in the summer. And lastly (bottom/right swatch) Barry M Lipstick in Palest Lavender £4.49, I've been after a purple lipstick like this forever! I have bought a few purple ones but they still have that pinkish tinge to them where as this one, as the name says, is much more lilac than anything else and I can't wait to try this one out.
Hope you've enjoyed the post, let me know what you think.

Today's Outfit #01
Hey Guys, I've been meaning to do a post like this for a while now but keep forgetting to take the picture before I go out because normally I'm rushing and when I get back I just don't look as nice.
So today I was just going out for lunch with a friend so dressed fairly casual but added a blazer just because it's my favourite.
This is my outfit. Grey vest top: Topshop, tartan blazer: vintage shop on Brick Lane, trousers: Topshop, bag: Topshop, boots: Topshop. I also wore glittery socks but realised you can't see them but they are from New Look. I realise it is pretty much all Topshop but I just love the clothes there and I get a discount so it's a fair bit cheaper.
Jewellery. Necklace: Topshop, rings: Topshop and Dorothy Perkins, earrings which you can't really see but they are blue metalic bugs: Topshop, I also had on my Tiffany Mini bracelet but that was on the hand taking the picture.
Makeup. Eyes: BenefitBig Beautiful Eyes Contour Palette, NYC High Definiton Mascara. Face: Benefit Erase Paste (under my eyes, on my lids and around my brows), MUA Cover & Conceal (fair- mainly to highlight above cheekbones, around the eye and brow, my nose, chin and cupids bow), Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Silky Beige, MUA Blusher in shade 1 and Virgin Cosmetics Sunshine Shimmer Powder Bronze (used to contour). Lips: Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush.
I do have my extensions but i can't remember what brand they are as I bought them a while ago but they weren't that expensive (around £40-$50), I did have to sew the clips on myself, it is real human hair but I buy it from a little hairdressers in Chatham. You do get alot of hair for your money.
So there you go, that's all the details of my outfit today, hope you like.

Billion Dollar Brows
Hey Guys, so today I got my brows done. This was the first time I've gone to a salon to have anything like this done. Normally with my eyebrows I just tweeze and I fill them in myself but recently they have been looking a bit weird and somehow one has ended up more rounded and the other more angled so I just decided to treat myself. My eyebrows are the one thing I can't leave the house without doing. I think there is such an improvement and I'm really happy with them so thought I'd share my wonderful brow experience with you.
There are two main types of brow treatments out there at the moment: HD and BDB. I did do my research and looked into both and they are basically the same thing just by two different companies. I only made my decision to go with BDB because a recommended salon near me uses that brand.
The treatment took about 45 minutes and I did have a tint with mine just because I used to have darker eyebrows that matched my hair (my hair is pretty much its natural colour now) but I think the sun got to them over the summer and they just never darkened down again. I do feel that I look like I have no eyebrows without putting make up on them if that makes sense. But yeah so I went and had it done, after the tint they then proceed to shape them via waxing and tweezing. I think they do also thread at some salons but the process does vary due to the brow. To shape them they do measure part s of your face and your brows to make sure they are the same shape, height, width etc ( I had one slightly higher than the other)
After that they sooth the area and go on to the make up side of things. Using the BDB products they highlight around the brow and use powder to fill them in as tis bonds to the hair and the skin unlike pencil where you basically just draw on your face. The powders do give a softer and more natural look but if you like a bold brow like me you can just apply a bit more. And then they're done. I have posted before and after photos underneath, the after photo is with makeup but my eyebrows have been tinted to the same colour.
I would really recommend the Billion Dollar Brows to anyone, I got mine done at Julie Gamble in Sittingbourne, a girl called Charlotte does them there and she is lovely so if your near I would definately suggest getting them done there but the service should be the same pretty much anywhere you go.
I'll post a few links below for you to have a look at, it really is worth the pennies. the tint lasts about 4 weeks and you can either just top up with a wax when you need it or have the whole treatment done again in 3-5 weeks.
Well I hope you've enjoyed the post and let me know what you think.
